Our Story
Meet our Artists
We are a Community Interest Company (CIC) & we run as a not-for-profit. In our space we have a beautiful art gallery and artists studios.
Our eclectic building sits right next to the Thames on the Greenwich Peninsula. We host regular exhibitions, workshops, community events, food pop-ups, mindfulness and wellbeing events, music and spoken word. We also host other organisations and community members for short exhibitions and / or events.
We believe in the power of collaboration and supporting the local community with all of its diverse cultures. We are an artist collective. Creating with passion, humour & courage. Empowering through connection, collaboration a kindness. At the heart of our mission is the belief that everyone deserves the chance to lead a fulfilling and balanced life.
By integrating creativity into wellness initiatives, we seek to address the multifaceted dimensions of health, promoting resilience, self-discovery, and a sense of belonging. Firepit is alive, it grows. We share ideas and stories, knowledge and skills. There is an organic element to the project, we take risks, we believe in people and magical things happen. Our aim is to support our artists in successful careers, in coexistence with creating a community hub.
