Healing Through Art
Healing Through Art -- A Creative Journey for Emotional Well-being
Led by Art & Well-being Facilitator Octavia Yang, this workshop is inspired by Trauma Healing with Guided Drawing principles, designed to support emotional well-being and self-expression. By combining drawing, meditation, yoga, and teachings from Buddhism and Hinduism, participants will be guided through a process of self-exploration and personal growth. The course encourages a mindful, non-verbal approach to creative expression, helping participants connect with their emotions and inner experiences.
Through movement meditation and integrative practices for body, mind, and soul, the workshop fosters a deeper connection to oneself, promoting emotional release, relaxation, and self-healing through creativity. Using haptic feedback and flow in the creative process, participants can access their emotions and express them freely, promoting a sense of emotional well-being.
This workshop provides a safe, supportive environment for participants to explore their emotions, cultivate mindfulness, and engage in self-healing through the creative process. The focus is on well-being and emotional expression, not clinical therapy.
