Unveiled: Stories Behind the Silence

An international exhibition of survival, strength and healing

At the heart of “Unveiled: Stories Behind the Silence” lies a collection of bold works, each carrying deeply personal stories. These are lived experiences, fragments of memory, and voices given form.

The artworks come together to form a unified narrative: the journey of healing of a survivor of domestic violence. The exhibition draws on the psychological understanding of the personality, broken into fragments by difficult experiences.  While visitors walk around the exhibition, they are encouraged to piece together the fragmented parts of the self, ending with their reintegration into one. The defender, the inner child, those who trust, and those who hope. Witnessing how what was once broken can be reimagined as whole.

Featuring artists from the UK, USA, Europe, and Africa, the exhibition gathers international perspectives into one powerful story of rebuilding and resilience.

 

… and an exhibition with a purpose

Unveiled is more than an exhibition. It is also a fundraiser for Solace, a London-based charity that supports over 30,000 women and children each year in building lives free from abusе.
