Series: Love Notes to Nature — Paintings
A park pond in summer, the surface alive with reflected colour — chartreuse, emerald, cobalt and blush — where the trees and sky have dissolved into pattern. Bold, staccato marks build up a shimmering abstraction that hovers between pure landscape and pure painting. There is something almost meditative about standing before this work: the sense of a mind that has found its way back to itself through the simple act of looking at water.
